Overview

AVA is a customized meal food delivery application which allows its users to customized their weekly meals based on their dietary and food preferences.

Nowadays people with their busy schedule barely have time to cook and they end up spending money on unhealthy meals and eating outside. Having help on the preparation of your meals and delivering it to you is what got this app started.

  • Project background: Nowadays people with their busy schedule barely have time to cook and they end up spending money on unhealthy meals and eating outside. Having help on the preparation of your meals and delivering it to you is what got this app started.
  • Research goals: We are trying to find user’s pain points in their daily routine that would bring challenges for meal preparations. Also demographic information on who would use this app the most. These will help us know what services to offer the user & how to design the app to be user friendly and accessible for its users.

Methodology

  • Qualitative method. Surveys and application statistics.
  • Selected group of individuals with variety in occupation, gender, race etc.
  • Will receive an email survey to participate in a mockup of the application.
  • The test will run for a week.
  • The results will feed the application statistics for review.
  • The survey result will be collected and reviewed by the research group.

Participants

  • Users will be selected from a group of people with busy schedules who have less than 20-30% of their daily time to spend in their homes for meal preps. Working individuals, single parents, students…
